Issues That I Would Like Solved This Decade
With 2010 here, I am ready for the new decade. A decade more of life’s surprises. A decade more of happiness and firsts. I am ready for the new wave of technological marvels and life changes. A decade more of interesting days, and meeting people who want to make changes and leave impressions.
It is far more interesting to run into people who are unselfish in their ritual habits and how they handle the daily grind. Sometimes you know a type of person because you know someone with similar mannerisms or personal habits or how he/she handles certain situations in life. Whether he/she is of the social elite, or that of the school lunch room setting with fond popularity, you have meet someone similar to this new person before. One case study I would like to do is have 20 or more people who I think are similar in philosophical or moral beliefs, and have them respond to the same stimuli to assess patterns in behavior. If I were to sub-categorize a few of the participants who I believe to be similar, it would be interesting to have data that provides proof.
Some undoubtedly would have anxiety disorders that preoccupy too much of their time. Some will have obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD) while others will suffer from aggression disorders.
Some people are brilliant, but have difficulty following through with those thoughts. This is typically known as a block or an internal conflict where the lack of confidence or the positive mindset prevents one from completing a task. Improper work habits or disorganization obviously can hinder the outcomes as well. Ill thought patterns where negative thoughts take over their thought process (passive-aggressive disorders) also factor for these types of individuals.
So, with that said, let’s have the following solved by the end of 2010.
- To increase the percentage of graduates in mathematics and sciences
- Remove MTV and all immature reality based shows that influence teenagers to act stupid
- Runaway corporations and politicians
- Stupidity/Incompetence – that includes politicians, corporate leaders, and consumers
- Impatience
- The “me” attitude
- Fast food must lose the fat
- Identity Theft
- Parents who raise their children as “friends.”
- A better decade than the last 3
Happy New Year to All!
